Thank you for your interest in helping with this year’s Fall Feast. This is the region’s biggest Thanskgiving Day Celebration, providing a special event for our guests, and it wouldn’t be possible without you. The following are the ways you can get involved:

ENGAGE - Share-A-Meal November 24th - Great for families

Be a part of our celebration, come join the meal, meet a new neighbor and share in this celebration. The most meaningful ‘gift’ we can give during the holiday season is our time, sitting and sharing with others who may not have people in their daily lives. We encourage you to come and share-a-meal with our fellow community members. PARTICIPATE - Street Teams Publicity November 5th, 12th & 19th

This year, we will be hitting the streets – sending teams into local neighborhoods to tell people about Fall Feast and personally invite them to attend. We’ll be setting up stations to give away free coffee, passing out flyers, and hanging up posters to spread the word about the event. As a past Fall Feast volunteer, you know what a great event this is and what an impact it can have on our friends and neighbors. So, help us spread the word!

ENGAGE – Coat Drive October 24th – November 11th

Get your corporation and co-workers involved by collecting coats, mittens and scarves for those who are less fortunate. All items will be handing out the day of the event in the Coat Shop at Fall Feast. The goal is that no one leaves Thanksgiving Day with out a new coat. Please contact mailto:Coats@fallfeast.org if your company would like to be involved with the biggest coat drive in the greater Cincinnati area.

PARTICIPATE - Coat Sorting Fiesta November 19th

Last year we were able to collect over 1,000 coats from various companies throughout the city. This year we are doing it again with the hopes to collect over 1,500 coats, scarves and mittens. If you can’t be here for the fun festivities on Thanksgiving Day we would love to have your help sorting coats and preparing the Coat Store that is located within the banquet center on the day of the event. On November 19th, 2010 from 9-2 we will be sorting through all of the coats.

SPREAD THE WORD - Help us share an invitation with neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family.

PARTICIPATE – Event Execution November 24th - Adult volunteers only

There are various ways you can serve in addition to Sharing a Meal on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteering will be in two major buckets with many different tasks but flexibility is key. We ask that you come the day of the event being ready to serve in any capacity possible, as the event has grown from 250 to 2,300 in 5 years the quality of event is due to everyone sharing in the spirit of the event and pitching in as needed.

Servers of All Sorts – Includes anything from plating food with all of the trimmings, bagging garbage, waiting tables to following Chef Ron’s orders in the kitchen.
Faces of Fall Feast – Takes responsibility of making this a memorable event for all those who walk through the doors. Tasks could include greeting guests, helping people sign up for haircuts, playing with kids in the kid zone, escorting people in the banquet room, maybe even dressing up like pilgrims or turkeys. Let us know if you are interested in wearing the turkey suit!

We greatly appreciate your willingness to be with us on this Thanksgiving Day. Your roles in this event is a huge piece to making this day special for those who may not have otherwise had a Thanksgiving Day meal.

Once RSVPs are complete for each respective role you will receive specifics on the event such as what time to be there, where to go, etc. In standard Give Back Style, this is turn-key volunteering, we will provide all the ingredients we just need you to make it all happen.
