Q&A

Q: What time is the event?

A: The event is open from 10:00-2:00, we hope that guests will come early and are free to stay after they complete the meal to enjoy the entertainment.  The meal is served from 11:00 – 2:00.

Q: How many people can I bring?

A: We have our doors open to everyone and estimate up to 2,000 guests, no RSVP is required but we would appreciate you letting us know if you are coming by clicking the ‘attend’ button at the top of the page.

Q: Is transportation provided?

A: The Duke Energy Center is located within close proximity of the metro bus lines, metro has issued complimentary transportation tickets (ONLY GOOD FOR TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM EVENT) for the event that we will be distributing at pre-established locations.  If your organization is interested in distributing those tickets, please let us know how many you need and when you would like to receive them.

Q: How can I spread the word?

A: We can provide you posters and hand-outs to reach your guests.

Q: Who else will be attending?

A: This is truly a community meal, all members of our community will be invited, including families, students, surrounding neighborhoods, the underserved, the elderly….if you live in the region, you are invited.

Q: What will you be serving?

A: The full menu includes: salad, bread, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, and of course, pumpkin pie.  You will have the choice of coffee, water, crystal light or milk to drink.

Q: Why should I come?

A: The food will be fantastic, there will be live entertainment, and games for the children.  In addition, you will be able to spend time with others from the community.

Q: How much does the event cost?

A: The event, food, and entertainment are all provided through generous donations by local businesses, there is no cost for the patrons, they need just to show up and enjoy a great meal and time with their community.  If you are interested in donating, you can do so by clicking ‘donate’ at the top of this page.  Like all Give Back Cincinnati events, 100% of donations go to event expenses, the event is organized, managed, and staffed by all volunteers.
