Fall Feast 2011
900 Volunteers, 6,000 Diners, One Amazing Meal
The Thanksgiving spirit was alive and well at Give Back Cincinnati’s annual Fall Feast event last Thursday, Nov. 24. Approximately 900 volunteers served an amazing 6,000 meals — that’s 1,400 pounds of turkey, 13,075 pounds of green beans, 80 gallons gravy, 800 pies and nearly 700 pounds of salad — and made new holiday memories with attendees. Plus, we gave out 200 haircuts, nearly 1,500 coats, administered 135 free flu shots to those who would not have received one otherwise, and provided valuable medical services to dozens of others.
We could not be more excited and more THANKFUL for all the amazing work our Fall Feast planning committee and the event volunteers performed. THANK YOU!
